  • Highlight of the class:
    Everything was handled superbly and the instruction and directions were spot on. The highlight was probably the menu itself, but the entire evening was fantastic!
    Could we make it better?
    It was great! We cooked a lot and all of the steps in the preparation and cooking were very well explained. Nothing seemed to be missing.

    Learning simple techniques and recipes that turned out some really good food.
    Anything you'd like to share?
    We both thought it was a tremendous amount of fun and really enjoyed learning together.
    Could we make it better?
    Explain why and what certain seasonings do to the dishes.

  • Highlight of the class:
    Learning some new techniques (cooking shrimp and then putting them in an ice water bath). Puff pastry encrusted meat. The madira? added to mushrooms (a classic).
    Anything you'd like to share?
    Instruction was great. Lots of good tips.
    Could we make it better?
    It is hard to improve on such a great class. The only suggestion I have be to add alternative suggestions. For example, the mashed potato recipe could have alternative suggestions such as (add 6 ounces of cream cheese, or add 4 ounces of sour cream and 3 ounces of cream cheese, or put mashed potatoes in a baking dish and cover with provolone - then bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. These are made-up examples but the idea is that even simple mashed potatoes can be transformed multiple ways with a few different ideas. That small transformation and 3 more ways of transforming a dish adds great value. Just a thought.

    We enjoyed the chefs- entertaining and helpful and informative - learned how to hold a knife properly!
    Anything you'd like to share?
    They did a great job making sure I avoided the gluten.
    Could we make it better?
    Since I'm a nutritionist I am picky- I would rather not have used canola oil (you can replace it with avocado oil) and like to know where my food comes from (ie, grass fed, local, organic, ) but I know that's asking a lot. Typically I don't eat GMO foods and conventionally raised meats but the experience was very nice and fun.

    The instructors were so helpful and fun at the same time. We had a great group of people in our class as well.

    Would like coffee with dessert but otherwise was amazing!

  • Highlight of the class:
    Sharing the meal with my spouse.
    Could we make it better?
    Fresher ingredients. We tried three bulbs of garlic and finally just had to settle for removing the moldy ones! Gross....

    We apologize that you were given less fresh product to work with during your class. We have met with all the responsible parties and have told them to carefully inspect all items that you are expected to work with for the utmost freshness. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your class and would love to have you join us again!

  • Highlight of the class:
    It was run very professionally, and covered many additional tips and trick that will be very useful in the kitchen.
    Anything you'd like to share?
    One thing that we thought of was this. We don't drink wine due to health concerns, and because of this we wondered if a reduced pricing for the package could be offered to patrons that don't consume the wine. Maybe a color on the name tag, and a card that could be placed near the seating area to identify to the staff that we would not be consuming wine. Not a show stopper, but thought it might be a bit less expensive for the patron, and there could certainly be less waste of pouring wine that we will not be consuming.
    Could we make it better?
    The class was excellent. We enjoyed it. The wait staff was excellent, Chef Diego & Luigi were awesome, the food was second to none. We appreciate the recipies, and will definitly attend another class.

  • Highlight of the class:
    Being able to assemble a first-class meal and having the beef wellington turn out perfect!
    Anything you'd like to share?
    The entire experience was beyond my expectations. You have a first class facility and great, friendly people teaching. Couple that with a nice bunch of students, made for as nice an evening as we could ever have hoped for.
    Could we make it better?
    I don't know a single thing to suggest doing differently. Have already recommended to multiple people.

  • Highlight of the class:
    Cooking with my husband. It was light hearted, fun and we learned some new things. The food was also delicious!
    Anything you'd like to share?
    Tom was really knowledgeable and kept it entertaining.
    Could we make it better?
    It might be nice to offer some options on the alcohol, such as bourbons or beer.

  • Highlight of the class:
    We really enjoyed the group aspect where you cooked by yourself but there was still a lot of involvement with all of the other couples.
    Anything you'd like to share?
    Chef Tom was a great teacher and we really enjoyed Jean Luigi and the other chef that was shadowing for the evening. The entire service group was outstanding!
    Could we make it better?
    I honestly can't think of any way to make the class better. If I had to make any kind of suggestion I might just ask that there were more picky-eater friendly classes offered. My husband loved the class and even enjoyed the food that is normally outside his comfort zone, but it took me a long time to pick out a class that I thought he would enjoy.

  • Highlight of the class:
    Working at a station with my husband. I thought I would be working side by side with a stranger. How you've got the kitchen set up is so nice.
    Could we make it better?
    It would be nice when registering for classes if you could indicate if you are going to drink or not and then discounting the price accordingly for those who don't drink since the alcohol you provide is such high quality (as it should be). It was frustrating to think I paid just as much as everyone else and I don't drink.
