In the roasting foundation class, you will learn the art of preparing dishes in an oven. You will learn how to:

How to get a crisp skin on a chicken and keep it moist at the same time.
How to roast vegetables and potatoes to coax out all the flavors.
Using a thermometer to make sure your roast is safe and still moist.
How to assemble and bake a delicious bread pudding 

The menu we will use to get you to understand the subtleties of roasting is:

Roasted Chicken with Pan Gravy
Roasted Potatoes, Leeks, Artichokes and Asparagus
Bread Pudding with a Caramel Sauce
