Florence is the birthtplace of the Renaissance which changed the tradition of the arts and this tradition is reflected in the Italian way of cooking and in the presentation of dishes.

Bistecca alla Fiorentina (Grilled porterhouse)
Asparagi al Parmigiano (grilled asparagus topped with parmesan)
Semi Freddo with Fresh Strawberries (Frozen meringue custard with nuts and strawberries).

chianti wineTheir wine too is incredible.  Rich and robust. The flourishing hills surrounding Florence are famous for being the birthplace of Chianti.  Chianti “Classico” is produced between Florence and Siena. This is the land of the Sangiovese grape varietal. A varietal perfectly suited to go with the local fare.

Included in the price of the meal are some of the great wines of Tuscany thoughfully paired with each dish.
