You can smell the sweet scent of the ripening grapes mixed with the earthy aromas coming from the kitchens preparing delicious food to feed these hungry harvesters. What are they creating in those kitchens that smells so good!!
Burgundy is not only one of the top producing wine regions of the world, but it is also known as the "stomach" of France and great food is the reason why!
You might not realize it, but when you think of classic French dishes, you are probably thinking of those dishes whose origins are from Burgundy. Coq au Vin, Boeuf Bourguignon, Escargot de Bourgogne are all dishes made famous in this area and served in French restaurants around the world.
